These are some of the works I have previously made in various classes. They assisted me with my future designs.
This is a combined work of wood working and weaving, creating an interesting area in the middle. It has helped me with studying furniture works.
This project was to make a tiny interactive cube but keeping its simple geometry. I have used a fabric on the cube to give it a more homey appearance on top of the cold white body.
All students in our major were assigned to make a spatula and a spinning top both in wood in a month. The job was to make it as simple and appealing.
I understood the importance of simplicity when it comes to design and more does not mean better.
Different from what I have done previously. This is a joystick with a very heavy sense of nature. It was designed to be very organic to appeal to both sexes and fits different sized hands. The green body allows users to relax their eyes from extensive gaming.
In my jewellery class, I chose to make a copper tea strainer with a glass ball cover. It is simple and fits most teapots and cups due to its trapezoidal top.
I have learnt different ways to shape copper in the class and have decided to integrate different material to have it stand out in class. On top is a hollowed copper shaped in a Jaguar E-type Series I. It was riveted onto a piece of walnut to make it more grand.
60º is a juicer with three metal tips for easy cleaning. It was named 60º because the exterior angle of a hexagon and the angle between the metal plates are 60º. I made the juicer to stand on its own so one would not need to place it at an awkward position where it starts dripping all over surfaces.
Handry is a clothes pin designed to look like tiny people to make your hang drying experience more fun amongst family. Its usage will not harm children.
